Volunteering
at OLA
OLA Parish and School offer many opportunities for family and
parishioner participation as volunteer classroom assistants, homeroom
parents, coaches, judges, and membership in the Home and School
Association.
Each parish/school family is asked to give time each month in service .
This program can be done by giving a few minutes each day, helping out
a few hours a week, or assisting on a project that might involve a day
or two of commitment. Here are some great ideas on how to get
involved….
If you have an extra 10 minutes……..Help us keep our facility tidy by
picking up trash around the church and parish campus.
If you have 30 minutes……Share your gardening skills by pulling weeds in
flowerbeds, or assisting in planting vegetation.
If you have 45 minutes…..Volunteer to watch the students who attend the
before-school program from 7:30 a.m. – 8:15 a.m. each morning; or bond
with the students by helping out at lunch recess.
If you have an hour or more available each week…..Serve God by
participating in our Parish Mass as a lector, choir member, altar
server, greeter, and much more! Please call the school office at
