| For nearly 60 years,
Our Lady of the Assumption Parish has been serving
the people of northeast Albuquerque. While much has changed in
our
area throughout the years, one thing has remained the same – the
commitment of our parish to the faith of Jesus Christ. (Read complete welcome

- Countdown 2011
Thanks - The School Advisory
Council (SAC) sends thanks to all the OLA parishioners, parents,
students and staff for their help in making the 2011 OLA Countdown a
huge success! It was a complete sell out and could not have
happened without your support. A big thank you to all the
volunteers! A big thank you to all the volunteers who helped set
up, work, and clean up the countdown, and to all the families who sold
or bought tickets. Thank you & God bless.
- Casserole Cooking Ministry - In May 2009,
Our Lady of the Assumption began a “Casserole Cooking” ministry that
will provide good, hot meals to our community’s homeless and hungry
men, women and children in our city. The Good Shepherd Center
staff has provided our parish the recipes and covered containers.
All we have to do is follow a recipe, make a casserole, freeze it, and
return it to the parish office.
